About Methodist Welfare Services

Since 1981, Methodist Welfare Services has served thousands of needy individuals and families through our caring and compassionate services. Every month, we provide services to an average of 5,500 people, through our 13 centres and outreach services islandwide; five centres for Chidren and Youth, four Family Service Centres, a hospice home care, and two homes for the elderly, sick and destitute. MWS is registered under the Charities Act and is an Institution of Public Character (IPC).

As a nation, we are generally more willing to part with money for a good cause than our time. Our busy Singaporean lifestyles--long work hours and packed schedules--prevent us from volunteering.
